Since 1974, Brawny™ Paper Towels and the Brawny™ Man have been a trusted fixture in America’s homes and on their roll holders. After joining the Georgia-Pacific family of brands, the Brawny™ Man himself went through some significant changes through the years — losing a mustache and an axe along the way.

Finally, in 2003, the now iconic (and clean-shaven) Brawny™ Man took center stage on our packs as a symbol of the strength and resilience our paper towels and the people who use them are known for. Today, we’re proud to continue that legacy of strength with a trusted product that’s proudly made in the U.S.A.

GIANTS TAKE ACTION

During the pandemic, the Brawny ® brand was proud to highlight the heroic efforts of ordinary Americans through our Giants Take Action initiative. From California to Florida and everywhere in between, weekly deliveries of food, supplies and Brawny ® Paper Towels were being distributed to neighbors and communities in need by these everyday heroes.

STRENGTH HAS NO GENDER®

In honor of Women’s History Month, we celebrated female pioneers who were pushing boundaries and shattering gender stereotypes in the workplace, universities, military and more. During this month, the Brawny™ Man would also step aside to give women the spotlight with a limited-edition #STRENGTHHASNOGENDER pack.

Throughout the years, we’ve proudly supported American jobs. In fact, each of our mills provide over 900 jobs to its local economy — including an additional 100+ jobs created as the result of our most recent expansion in Green Bay.
